Would you like to wake up to a Nintendo Alamo Clock?
At the Young Writers' Club Jr. program, we caught up with the news about a new Nintendo alarm clock. What could be different about this alarm clock?

Does anyone love alarms? Maybe not. That snooze button is by far the most tempting option for many. While some of the tween members were accustomed to alarm clocks to wake up, the others preferred to be woken up by their parents as alarms don’t work for them. A raised voice on the other hand works beautifully! :))
A Nintendo Alarm Clock
Some of the tweens were familiar with Nintendo. They had played games such as Super Mario. The others weren’t into video games and hence it wasn’t something they were keen on. But that didn’t stop them from giving a contrary perspective.
Video game enthusiasts toyed with the idea of having an alarm clock of this kind. But they had their own favorites and worried if the screen was too small. They had a million questions about how it works, where the buttons are and so on. “Sounds from favorite games might be nice to wake up to and help set a good mood,” they said. The others weren’t so sure. They said that they would rather continue waking up the way they always do rather than have game sounds.
What features would you like to have in an alarm clock such as this one?
A video game enthusiast asked for a possibility of playing his favorite game for 5 mins in the morning if he woke up on time without snoozing. A fair reward? That one might be subject to debate.

Another wanted to have Minecraft and Fortnite instead.
Their take on features such as sleep tracking etc,.
“Won’t a smart watch do the job? A lot more compact and can be worn easily?” was the question that came up.
In response to the question if they would like to track their own sleep patterns, the answer was a big “No!”
The price tag soon caught up with us and there were gasps.
Mixed reactions followed. The discussion ended on a lukewarm note.
